  17. I assume you aren't using the REGISTERED version of ppp.device.  With it, its
  18. dialing script would do what you are asking in a heartbeat!

  20. The current version (1.44) of PPP works slick as a whistle.  It supports PAP
  21. and such.

  23. You can always if you ABSOLUTLEY can't afford $15.00 roll your own arexx
  24. scripts.  I had working "generic" dialup routines in arexx prior to ppp
  25. supporting a dialup device.  Now they aren't necessary.
